Shark Tank India Season 2 Premiere: The wait for the second season 2 of ‘Shark Tank India’, one of the most loved shows, is over now. Its telecast has started on Sony TV from last night i.e. 2 January 2023. The judges of season 1 appeared in the first episode, including Aman Gupta, Piyush Bansal, Namita Thapar, Vinita Singh and Anupam Mittal. The new Amit Jain was not present. Let us tell you what were the special things in the first episode of the show.
judge’s remorse
Season 2 begins with the regrets of the sharks. In the last season, two women from Darbhanga, Bihar had pitched the business of pickles to the judges. Namita and Vineeta had offered him, while the rest of the judges had turned him down. Seeing the same women growing their business in the premiere, the judges regretted not giving them the offer.
Unique Idea of First ‘Pitchers’
The first business idea of the season was very unique, except for Anupam Mittal, the other four sharks were interested. Two sisters Yashoda and Riya entered the show, who pitched their brand ‘Hoovu’ (flower based business) to the judges. Namita-Vinati and Aman-Piyush made offers to both, but the pitchers accepted the offer of Aman and Piyush. He got an offer of Rs 1 crore on two per cent equity.
Rannvijay Singh replaced
In the first season, Rannvijay Singh was seen as the host, but this time he was replaced by famous YouTuber Rahul Dua. Rahul had made the atmosphere fun with his laughter and jokes.
Anupam Mittal served tea
The second pitch was about tea. Two friends came to pitch the tea-based brand Doorji to the judges. It is situated in Darjeeling. By the way, Darjeeling is famous for tea. Both the friends made tea on the show itself and Anupam also served tea to his co-sharks. After this Anupam, Piyush and Vinita decided to invest in his business and Pitchers accepted their offer.
‘Unity’ seen among sharks in the show
The third pitch was about a makeup business. Pitchers Dheeraj and Rahul explained the overall format of their business to the sharks and everyone liked their business, but no one invested. The biggest reason for this was that Vinita Singh is also the owner of ‘Sugar Cosmetics’. Namita clearly said that her principle is that she will not invest in any business in which her friend’s business is connected.
‘Shark Tank India Season 2’ airs from Monday to Friday at 9 pm on Sony TV. You can also watch it on the OTT platform Sony Liv.
